Named after a decaying iron statue of the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, this deep roasted oolong tea produces a luscious flavour profile of chestnut, baked pear and granola. In a dream the statue spoke to its poor caretaker, revealing shoots of a tea tree and of good fortune to come to his entire village.

Best quality oolong tea!

I absolutely love the roasted iron goddess oolong tea! It's very easy for oolong teas to be bitter without much flavour, but this one is beautifully aromatic, has delicate flavours and matches the quality of high-end oolong teas I used to get from China. It makes for a beautiful milk tea, but is wonderful as a black tea too. This is one of the three staple teas that I have at home and make sure to never run out of!:) (My other two staples are the hojicha and sakura rose green)
